Terms & Conditions
Before you engage with Hellfire, please take a few minutes to read the fine print:
Our Refund Policy
Please note we do not operate a refund policy for submissions to our film festivals.
If you have purchased tickets for a Hellfire event (including screenings, workshops and courses) and would like a refund it must be made in writing and sent to ’Hellfire Film Festival, Flat 3, 11 Claremont Road, Folkestone, Kent, CT20 1DQ, United Kingdom’. These must include the:
- reason for the request
- time and date any fault on our part has been incurred
- name of the staff member concerned
- copy of any documentation relevant to the complaint (website print out etc.)
Please note that unless the course is cancelled by Hellfire, a 20% processing fee will be incurred.
Within 7 days of the course start date or non-attendance refunds will not be given, although credit may be given towards any other Hellfire course or event. This is at the discretion of Hellfire.
Unless the course is rescheduled by Hellfire, a 10% processing fee will be incurred.
Courses may not be rescheduled by the attendee within 5 days of the course start date. This is at the discretion of Hellfire.
The Hellfire Guarantee
If you decide to attend and find that any Hellfire course is over-hyped, unsuitable or simply does not meet or exceed your expectations, let a member of Hellfire know in the first break on the first day for an instant, no-questions-asked refund.
Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any special requirements with respect to your attendance.
Freedom Of Information
Under the Freedom of Information Act all client information kept by Hellfire is available to claim. This can include personal data, any saved emails, course attendance or mail.
A request must be filed by the person in question in a letter addressed to ’Hellfire Film Festival, Flat 3, 11 Claremont Road, Folkestone, Kent, CT20 1DQ, United Kingdom’. This must include the full name and address and any details of what kinds of information would be kept (eg: if there are emails – and to who they would have been addressed) so as to assist full investigation of the claim.
Hellfire will also charge a £10 administrative fee payable by cheque to ‘Hellfire Limited’. Any further claims will subsequently be charged £10 at every instance. In the cases where data contains private information concerning other clients or staff, such instances exempt from FOI claims, Hellfire may refuse to deliver such data alternatively explaining why this would not be available.
If you are dissatisfied with Hellfire’s response comments must be sent to:
Information Commissioner, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF
