In fact only 25% of our expenses are covered by the submissions fees and we don’t sell tickets for the Hellfire Short Film Festival, it is a free-to-attend event. This means that the vast majority of the costs are borne out of the organisers’ pockets.
As such we are always looking for likeminded individuals or organisations to help us out, be it financially or offering their services and expertise for free.
Currently we have two ways you can help us out financially. A one-off or monthly donation (via PayPal) or by sponsoring us.

Digging deep to help out
Your support goes a long way to help Hellfire Film Festival continue and grow. Each donation secures venues for future events, launching new events, licensing for screening feature films, providing educational workshops for budding filmmakers of the future and the day-to-day running and legal expenses of the organisation.
You will also be supporting industry newcomers.
Soon we hope to launch our own Hellfire FilmFund which will provide small grants to support those who are taking their first steps into the film industry be it as an actor, film director, composer, etc.
We won’t take your support for granted. You will receive a public thank you on our social media platforms and your name will appear on our new Supporters page (coming soon). You will also get exclusive discounts and earlybird priority when we have any ticketed events.
There are many ways you can sponsor the Hellfire Film Festival. Here are just some of the ways you can support us.
Your company logo displayed in prominent places on our website. We currently average 3,000 unique visitors per month.
Your company name and logo would precede the name of the event. For example: The “ABC” Hellfire Short Film Festival and your company logo would be incorporated into the event’s logo.
Big Screen Partner
At the beginning of every event we screen a five minute introduction which highlights some of our previous events, films we’ve screened, interesting information about the events and so on. Your company could sponsor this and the logo would appear at the end of the sequence.
Example of Intermission Partnership
In some of our events, the Hellfire Short Film Festival in particular, we have at least one intermission and usually a music video or live performance is screened. Your company could sponsor this and the logo would appear in the corner of the screen throughout.
Voting Card Partner
At the Hellfire Short Film Festival every audience member is handed a voting card. Your company logo will appear at the top of this. We could also display an advert at the bottom.
The sky isn’t the limit
There is no limit to what we can do to accommodate your company if you decide to support us in any capacity. Get in touch with us today to discuss how we can work together.
In March 2016 an event at the Lime Bar Cafe in Folkestone was cancelled at the last moment. We stepped in at the eleventh hour with an evening of short films. That evening the Hellfire Film Festival was born.
